The method involves enclosing volume (3) for supply of a medium e.g. gas, and foam portion that contacts the volume, by a sleeve. The enclosed volume is coated by foam so that the sleeve and foam make a fixed connection. The enclosed volume is inserted into a foaming tool. A connector (5) i.e. air hose, of the volume is formed over the foam portion in an external manner. The foam portion is fixedly connected with the sleeve in a contact area. The connector is connected with a medium supply unit (2) to supply the medium to the volume. An independent claim is also included for a cushion comprising a sleeve and a recess.
