The machine (10) has dispensers (34, 38) provided for bags and accessible from outer side. A supply chamber (32) accommodates collection of bags and is externally closed. A conveying device (100) conveys the bags from a collection of bags in the chamber to the dispensers. The collection of the bags is formed as the bag stack. The conveying device has suction devices (22, 24, 26) for sucking-up and holding the bags. The suction devices comprise a motor (20) for producing low pressure. An independent claim is also included for a method for dispensing bags from a bag stack.
