The suppression system (4) has a free space formed between a storage chamber and a closed storage system housing (3). A functional unit with different/optional quenching gas-flooding concepts is formed in inner region of the suppression system using characteristics of direct inertgas application to a fire source in a required spatial position. Multiple pipe lines are attached to an upper side of a closed storage system. Multiple inertgas-jet nozzles (6) are formed in horizontal distribution lines. Two vertical injection pipes (10) are side walls of the storage chamber.
