The data processing device has a material (1) with homochiral magnetic component, where the material is arranged to form a crystalline structure. The crystalline structure either lacks an inversion symmetry, or has an interface when the inversion symmetry is present. A property of a topologically stable node of a spin structure (TK1 to TK7) of the material is changed for information storage and for processing information. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an information processing method; (2) a method for manufacturing a data processing device; and (3) an information reading device.
