The turbocharger (10) has a compressor housing (12) for receiving a compressor wheel (18), and a cycle valve (20) for boost-pressure control. The cycle valve is connected directly with the compressor housing. A high-pressure area (14) of the compressor housing is connected directly with a connection (24) of the cycle valve over a connecting channel (30).
