The pump has a chamber (7) subjected to control pressure for applying a stator (5) with adjusting pressure. Pressure and suction cups are arranged within the stator in a housing (1). A spring (16) i.e. leaf spring, provided in the stator counteracts the adjusting pressure applied in the stator. A sealing element seals the chamber. The sealing element is designed as a cylindrical roller (19) that rolls off at a rolling surface (18) of the stator. The cylindrical roller is arranged on a side of a pressure pocket (10) of the stator.
