The invention relates to a method for despreading of a spread data signal, which is spread apart by means of a spread sequence. The method is suitable in particular for improving the correlations of spread data signals according to the transmission. It can be a software - or hardware - additional module be integrated in existing transmission systems. The method comprises the steps of forming a reversed spread data signal from the spread data signal, of the forming of the weighted spread data signal from the spread data signal and the evaluated reversed spread data signal from the data signal to be reversed by means of alternating evaluation, of correlating the spread data signal with the spread sequence, of the reversed spread data signal with the spread sequence is reversed, the evaluated spread data signal with the weighted spread sequence and the evaluated reversed spread data signal with the weighted spread sequence is reversed and of the summing of the four correlations.
