The unit has free jet injectors (26) arranged in an associated contact surface (14) and freely lead into an environment. The free jet injectors are arranged in rows and gaps according a location of a matrix. A valve device (16) e.g. piezovalve, is assigned to each of the free jet injectors. A control device controls the valve device such that fluid-free injection is provided with two different flow rates. A supply channel of the valve device ends in a common storage space, which is connected with a fluid source to provide a pressurized fluid. An independent claim is also included for a method for outputting a fluidically coded information.
