Shaft-hub-connecting arrangement for transmission of torque, has snap ring formed from material with temperature-dependent shape memory and receiving higher extraction force at operating temperature than at resting temperature
The arrangement (1) has a C-shaped round snap ring (5) arranged in a circulating shaft groove (6) and rotating hub groove (7) provided between a shaft (3) and a hub (2). The snap ring serves for axial fixing of the shaft relative to the hub. The snap ring is formed from a material with a temperature-dependent shape memory, and receives higher extraction force at an operating temperature than at a resting temperature. The snap ring is formed from a composite material such as nickel titanium, copper zinc, copper zinc aluminum, copper zinc nickel and iron nickel aluminum.
