The snap ring serves for axial fixing of the shaft relative to the hub. The snap ring is formed from a material with a temperature-dependent shape memory, and receives higher extraction force at an operating temperature than at a resting temperature. The snap ring is formed from a composite material such as nickel titanium, copper zinc, copper zinc aluminum, copper zinc nickel and iron nickel aluminum.
