The windowpane (2) has a channel (3) running in the windowpane and breakable by increasing pressure in the channel such that the windowpane is destroyed along the channel. A preset breakage point is arranged along the channel. The channel is formed by a rolled foil that unfolds during increase of the pressure in the channel. An edge of the rolled foil is manually grippable after breaking of the channel, and another edge of the foil is anchored in the area of the windowpane to be removed.
