The fusible element electrically and conductively interconnects two contact elements (4, 4') and melts at a predefined load. The fusible element interrupts the current flow between the contact elements, where each contact element comprises a springy region (5, 5'). The spring regions are formed by angled brackets of the respective contact element. A cable outlet is installed in the springy regions in a freely selectable direction.
