Constructing a floor covering (1), comprises: (i) applying a filler made of two-component polyurethane as pore sealing (2) on a provided textile floor covering and subsequently curing; (ii) applying a leveling layer of two-component polyurethane, curing and optionally removing the protruding and/or projecting fibers of the floor covering over the pore sealing or the leveling layer; (iii) applying an outer layer (3) of polyurethane on the pore sealing or the leveling layer and curing; (iv) and applying sealing (4) of the two-component polyurethane on the top layer and subsequently curing.
