The vehicle has a lateral sliding door slidably mounted on a lower body structure that is in the form of a stringer. A movable guiding carriage is housed in a cavity of the structure in closed door position. The carriage has reinforcements that are cooperated with the structure for assuring rigidity of the structure in a cavity zone when the carriage is housed in the cavity, where the reinforcements are in the form of bracings. The bracings have upper and lower rigid semi-shells (6a, 6b) connected together by a fixation unit (8c), where the unit is in the form of screw or clip.
