The use of structural adhesives as a mean for joining metals in car body construction is rapidly growing. Structural adhesives can enhance stiffness, durability, and crash worthiness of joined structures. Additionally, dissimilar metals can easily be joined providing the opportunity to optimize designs regarding cost and weight.
