The device has a flat section (1) adapted to be fixed to a support (2), and a U-shaped section (3). Ends of the flat section have tenons (1a, 1b) respectively. Ends of branches (3a, 3b) of the U-shaped section have grooves (4a, 4b) cooperating with the tenons of the flat section to fix the U-shaped section on the flat section in a removable manner. A core (3c) of the U-shaped section has an external surface (3d) for receiving a data medium (5) i.e. simple colored film, where the U-shaped section is made of a transparent or translucent material.
