The system has on-off type proportional opened isolating inlet electrovalves (6a-6d) associated to non-motorized calipers (7a, 7c) and motorized calipers (7b, 7d), respectively. The system decreases the pressure in the non-motorized calipers by actuating the electrovalves associated to the calipers that are not concerned jointly to the utilization of a reversible active booster (2) e.g. reversible electromechanical actuator. The system decreases the pressure in the motorized calipers by actuating the associated electrovalves and electrically actuating the concerned calipers. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling stability and trajectory of a motor vehicle.
