The system has a brake managing circuit controlled by an electronic control unit and comprising high pressure brake fluid accumulator connected to a braking fluid intake and exhausting circuit via a braking circuit. A fluid derivation unit (16) derives braking fluid from the accumulator towards a hydraulic amplifier (15) e.g. booster, when the pressure available in the accumulator is insufficient with respect to the pressure required in a brake caliper (9), for ensuring stability of a motor vehicle. Electrical units permit actuating of a motorized brake caliper (22). An independent claim is also included for a method for managing braking in a hydraulic control braking system installed in a motor vehicle.
