The device has elastically deformable fins (2) defining a spherical cage (3) in which a valve forming ball (4) is housed. A tubular piece/cannula (1) and the fins are made of synthetic material. The ball is movable between a closed position and a releasing position in which the ball is held by piped seams provided at ends of the fins, to permit evacuation of oil contained in the cannula under the action of its gravity. The ball is plated against a support surface (5) forming a base, under an action of pressure (A) exerted by gas present at a lower part of the cannula, in the closed position. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an oil drain device by molding.
