An optical device operating in a wavelength range centered on a reference wavelength (? 0) and providing an output signal characterized by comprising a photonic crystal structure having a substrate semiconductor material and at least one layer of semiconductor material having at least locally a set of patterns arranged to form a resonant optical cavity, said material of the semiconductor layer being an alloy of Gallium, Indium and Phospore not exhibiting two-photon absorption in the operating wavelength range of said device.
