The method involves transmitting a sequence of images to a processing computer, and treating the sequence of the images for identifying organs and/or a part of a body in the sequence of the images. The sequence of treated images is automatically post-treated during down time of the processing computer. Post-treatment results of the sequence of treated images are stored. The post-treatment results are loaded in a RAM of the processing computer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a diagnostic treatment assisting device comprising a processing computer for treatment of sequence of images acquired by a medical imaging device (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for treatment of sequence of images of an organ (3) a physical medium on which the computer program is stored.
