The device has an operable gripping arm (13) provided with a clip (5) with a deformable locking unit e.g. cylinder, for clamping a part of objects e.g. bottle (30), to hold the objects along different orientations with respect to vertical axis. The locking unit is provided with a holding jaw (9) including an inflatable bladder whose central longitudinal portion is secured to a rigid stop insert to establish a support unit for supporting a part of a curved contour of the objects. An independent claim is also included for an object packaging station including a frame mounted on a support structure comprising a rising and lowering unit for raising and lowering the frame.
