The tool has a tubular sleeve (1) with ends (2, 7) provided with a cylindrical guiding/centering portion (3) and a cooperating unit (8) cooperating with a portable wireless electric motor unit (9), respectively. A rod (10) is rotatably mounted in the cooperating unit. The rod has an end that carries a cleaning unit (11) i.e. metal brush, at the level of one of the ends of the sleeve. Another end of the rod has a connection unit (12) that is connected to the motor unit for rotating the rod so as to rotate the cleaning unit for cleaning a cylindrical inner contact surface of a female plug (4).
