Method for detection of non-toxic indocyanine green fluorescent marker in e.g. solid medium of biological cancer tissues of patient in neurology field, involves detecting time-resolved fluorescence signal of fluorescent marker
The method involves introducing a fluorescent marker in a diffusion medium (20). Excitations of the medium are realized using primary impulsions of a primary excitation beam at a primary wavelength and secondary impulsions of a secondary excitation beam shifted spectrally and temporally from the primary excitation beam, where secondary wavelength of the secondary beam is different from the primary wavelength of the primary beam. A time-resolved fluorescence signal of the marker is detected. An independent claim is also included for a tomography device for detection of a fluorescent marker in a diffusion medium.
