The invention relates to a bottle water trap 1 of the type used on sinks and basins. When the valve is opened, waste water drains from the sink into a bucket placed underneath. The water may then be reused to flush a toilet or for other grey water uses. The trap may be purpose made instead of modifying an existing trap.
