PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when power supply is cut owing to a trouble such as a power failure, and electric power is not supplied to a chicken egg sorting device, measured values held in a memory part are lost, so that chicken eggs can not be collected every egg weight division in a prescribed collection place.;SOLUTION: There is provided a chicken egg sorting device which, when a power failure occurs, the measured values of chicken eggs E held in the memory part are lost, and the occurrence of the power failure is detected by a detection part, resumes operation at a speed to make a container conveying part Tn which is a collection place for shelter not carry over chicken eggs E or at a lower speed. In the chicken egg sorting device, when the operation is resumed after a trouble such as a power failure is solved.
