WIPER CONTROLLER AND WIPER SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper controller for solving the sense of incongruity of a user caused by an abrupt wiper operation by preventing wiper arms from being started at a rapid speed when restarting the wiper system after intermittent stopping.;SOLUTION: In the wiper system 1, an electric motor 6 is driven based on a reference motor speed Va set corresponding to positions of wiper arms. When the wiper arms which intermittently stop at a reverse position are restarted, the actual rotation speed of the electric motor 6 is compared with the reference motor speed Va, and if a difference between the motor actual speed and the reference motor speed Va is higher than a threshold SV1, the electric motor 6 is started at a smooth activation speed Vs lower than the reference motor speed Va. If the reference motor speed Va is in a reducing state at present, the electric motor 6 is driven at a speed reduction upper limit speed Vh more lower than the smooth activation speed Vs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
