MARINE TRANSPORTATION METHOD BY BARGE AND THE BARGE FOR MARINE TRANSPORTATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine transportation method by a barge and the barge for marine transportation to be used in the marine transportation method having large degree of freedom with respect to the length, width, and height of a large-sized heavy article if it can be loaded on the deck of the barge, and capable of carrying the large-sized article completely without touching sea water.;SOLUTION: A U-shape tide barrier 6 in a plan view having a sufficient size to build in the large-sized heavy article to be carried in is formed of a plurality of empty containers 4, 5 on the deck 3 of the barge body 2, and after the large-sized heavy article is carried inside the tide barrier 6, an opening part X of the tide barrier 6 is closed by a pair of right and left opening/closing parts 7, 7 formed of empty containers.
