PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a piezoelectric motor to be improved in drive efficiency, a control method of a piezoelectric motor, a piezoelectric motor device and a printer.;SOLUTION: The control device of the piezoelectric motor includes a drive means 310, a switching means 330 and a control means 320. The drive means 310 inputs a drive signal into the electrodes 61 to 63, provided in a vertical vibration excited region and two sets of bending vibration excitation regions to drive the electrodes, and the switching means 330 switches the connection object of the electrode 63, provided in the vertical vibration excitation region and the two sets of bending vibration excited regions, between the drive means 310 and the control means 320. The control means 320 controls the switching means 330, so that the electrode 63 provided in the vertical vibrated exciting region and the two sets of bending vibration excitation regions can be connected to the control means 320 from the drive means 310 at the determination of the optimum output.
