PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harpoon tip for whaling using impulse waves which further simplifies a manufacturing process, enables secure boosting with respect to a denoting fuse on hitting a whale body, prevents the boosting to the denoting fuse at missing and can be safely recovered by a worker.;SOLUTION: The harpoon tip for whaling using impulse waves including an ammonium nitrate explosive composition 6 provided between a distal end of the denoting fuse 4 and a bottom of a blasting cap 7 can use both of impulse waves generated by initiation of the blasting cap 7 and impulse waves of the ammonium nitrate explosive composition 6 initiated by the impulse waves generated by initiation of the blasting cap 7 for initiation of the denoting fuse 4 and enables secure boosting to the denoting fuse 4 when hitting a whale. In contrast, when missing a whale body, water is made to enter from a seawater inlet 15 into a container to dissolve the ammonium nitrate explosive composition 6. Thus, even when ex-post accidental explosion of the blasting cap 7 occurs, boosting to the denoting fuse 4 is prevented, so as to enable safe recovery.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
