PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for accurately measuring adhesive strength of a toner to a carrier with good reproducibility in a two-component developer comprising the toner and the carrier containing a magnetic material component.;SOLUTION: The device for measuring adhesive strength of a toner includes: a developer holding unit 2 having a first magnet 22 that holds a two-component developer by magnetic force; an air flow supply unit 3 supplying an air flow to the two-component developer held by the first magnet 22; a separated toner detecting unit 4 detecting the number of separated toner particles, which are toner particles separated from the carrier by the air flow; and an adhesion strength computing unit 5b computing an adhesion strength of the toner to the carrier or an index representing the degree of the adhesion strength based on the wind velocity of the air flow and the number of separated toner particles detected by the separated toner detcting unit 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
