PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily, efficiently and industrially separating and classifying large amounts of semiconductor and metallic single wall carbon nanotubes from a material comprising single wall carbon nanotubes in which the semiconductor and metallic single wall carbon nanotubes are mixed, to provide a separation classification apparatus, and to provide separated and classified dispersion solutions.;SOLUTION: The method for separating and classifying single wall carbon nanotubes includes a process for applying a direct current voltage to a single wall carbon nanotube-containing micelle dispersion solution, obtained by dispersing the single wall carbon nanotubes into a nonionic surfactant solution, to separate the single wall carbon nanotube-containing micelle dispersion solution into at least two layers comprising a single wall carbon nanotube-containing micell dispersion layer, in which metallic single wall carbon nanotubes are concentrated in the single wall carbon nanotubes and each micelle has a positive charge as a whole, and a semiconductor single wall carbon nanotube-containing micelle dispersion layer, in which each micelle has a very weak charge as a whole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
