PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a color measurement unit which serves as the base for color correction values. PSOLUTION: When an LUT for correction is generated, wherein a correction value equivalent to a difference between a color measurement value in a spectroreflectometer of a color measurement unit which serves as a reference and a color measurement value, in a spectroreflectometer of a color measurement unit which serves as a correction object as the data, the LUT for correction includes a wavelength, a reflectance and a change rate to the change of the wavelength of the reflectance as elements of the argument. Also, a color measurement unit is provided to compute a color material amount set corresponding to the combination of the wavelength, the reflectance and the change rate and obtain the correction value on the basis of the color measurement result of a patch printed by the color material amount set.
