PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image inspection device, an image inspection method, and a computer program for use in image inspection hardly receiving the effect of external light at an installation place without requiring adjustment for avoiding the effect of external light. PSOLUTION: The image inspection device includes a robot hand 112 including an infrared irradiation device 120 irradiating urethane 144 applied on a urethane application area on glass 140 with infrared rays and an infrared image pickup device 116 picking up an image of the urethane 144. The robot hand 112 is movable on a route set along the urethane application area. When the robot hand 112 moves on the route, the image is obtained by the infrared image pickup device 116 by continuously picking up the image of the urethane 144 irradiated with the infrared rays by the infrared irradiation device 120 to inspect the application state of the urethane 144 by the image obtained by the infrared image pickup device 116.
