PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging container 1 of which use can be easily distinguished only by looking at the package from the top even though the mode of the food packaging container 1 is the same, wherein the food packaging container does not adversely affect housed food.;SOLUTION: A food-packaging sheet material is used as a food-packaging sheet material 10. A pattern 14 is formed by printing on part of the surface thereof that is brought into contact with the food to be packaged upon packaging, and the pattern 14 is covered by a coating 15 formed of a coating material which is harmless to food and allows distinguishment of the pattern therethrough. The food-packaging sheet material 10 is made into the food packaging container 1 by making it into a box so that the pattern 14 is in the side that is brought into contact with the food. In the food packaging container 1, the pattern 14 is covered by the coating 15; therefore, the printed pattern 14 is not brought into direct contact with the food.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
