PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately calculate an angle of a gear, by restraining the movement in the axial direction of the gear, in a shift controller.;SOLUTION: This controller includes a motor for driving a shift rail of a transfer case, a gear mechanism for transmitting rotation of the motor to the shift rail, a magnet for rotating together with the shift rail and a magnetic sensor element for providing output corresponding to a rotation angle of the magnet.
