PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily screening microorganisms which attain a high culture efficiency and a high cellulose decomposition efficiency under various conditions and a kit suitable for the method for screening the microorganisms.;SOLUTION: The method for screening microorganisms having a cellulose decomposition ability includes: (a) a process of culturing a sample under the condition that the sample makes contact with a solid containing cellulose; and (b) a process of detecting whether the solid containing cellulose is decomposed or not, and the kit for screening microorganisms, which has the solid containing cellulose and a culture vessel, is used for screening the microorganisms which have the cellulose decomposition ability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
