PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for bending and forming a titanium alloy slender material which is smaller in size than a conventional one, uses less heat quantity, and can perform curve-forming of the titanium alloy slender material with a desired curvature and thickness in a short period of time.;SOLUTION: The device 10 for bending and forming the titanium alloy slender material includes: a delivering mechanism 14 for intermittently delivering the titanium alloy slender material; a material sandwiching heating mechanism 16 including a pair of sandwiching members 16f, 16m sandwiching a part in a curve processing area of a material 12 delivered by the delivering mechanism from a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the material while the delivery of the material is stopped and heating the material to a curve enable temperature; and a material heating curve processing mechanism 18 being adjacent to the heating mechanism, including a pair of curve forming type members 18f, 18m having respectively curve processing surfaces 18P having a curvature with which the part of the curve processing area is curved and heated to the curve enable temperature, and sandwiching the heated part of the curve processing area of the material delivered from the heating mechanism by the curve processing surfaces and allowing it to be along the curve processing surfaces while the delivery of the material is stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
