PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer for an acid milk beverage and an acid milk beverage containing this stabilizer. PSOLUTION: A stabilizer for an acid milk beverage contains as an effective component the monoester-type starch phosphate hydrolysate in which the viscosity of an aqueous solution of 20 mass% or more is 2,000 mPa s or less.
