PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for forming a pulp molded article which is extremely high in practical performance capable of contributing to the significant enhancement of the free designing performance and productivity of a pulp molded article, and a method of forming a pulp molded article.;SOLUTION: The mold is used for forming the pulp molded article when the articles is formed by using either an injection molding process which hardens a fluid material composed mainly of pulp and starch after filling the interior of the mold with the fluid material or an extrusion molding process which hardens the fluid material composed mainly of pulp and starch after passing it through the mold. In addition, a plurality of fluid resistance parts constituted of recessed parts 2 or projecting parts 3 aligned in the fluid direction of the fluid material are arranged at a position which is located behind a ramification forming part 1 which ramifies the fluid apex of the introduced fluid material, and besides, a position which can expect the merge of the fluid tips obtained by the ramification of the fluid material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
