PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem related to the heat quantity rise of a fuel gas in which heat quantity is fluctuated on the basis of propane and butane being heavy components in the fuel gas.;SOLUTION: Activated carbon for suppressing the heat quality fluctuation of the fuel gas by adsorbing propane and butane being heavy hydrocarbons in the fuel gas is characterized by having a pore size of 2 nm or more and 4.1 nm or less.
