PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing waste water in a waste water treatment facility, in which method the quality and properties of waste water in the waste water treatment facility are grasped so that an average value is predicted without using a measured instantaneous value and waste water treatment is managed smoothly and easily by using the predicted average value without closing a final discharge valve excessively.;SOLUTION: The method for managing waste water in the waste water treatment facility comprises the steps of: acidifying nitrogen-sulfur oxides contained in the waste water from a steam power plant by using sulfuric acid while igniting them in an N-S decomposition tank 2 and reacting the acidified nitrogen-sulfur oxides with nitrous acid to decompose them into nitrogen gas and a sulfate ion; sending the waste water from the N-S decomposition tank 2 to a COD adsorption column 7 to adsorb/remove COD or to a bypass system 13 of the COD absorption column; and discharging the resulting waste water finally from a final discharge tank 10 to the outside. Whether the final discharge valve 11 is closed is judged on the basis of a predicted value calculated by using measured values and predetermined numerical expressions without using the measured instantaneous values of the properties of the waste water in each treatment unit when the resulting waste water is discharged finally from the final discharge tank 10 to the outside.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
