PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform the check processing of packet length in communication equipment.;SOLUTION: The communication equipment 1 includes: a storage part 11 for storing a quotient and a remainder obtained by dividing a multiplication value obtained by multiplying a prescribed integer expressed in the form of 2^β+α by integers ranging from 1 to 2^β by 2^β in association with the multiplication value; a division part 13 for setting actual packet length as a dividend, and for, when the dividend is set, calculating the quotient and the remainder by dividing the dividend by 2^β; a subtraction value determination part 14 for obtaining a quotient corresponding to the calculated remainder from the storage part 11, and for determining whether a subtraction value obtained by subtracting the obtained quotient from the quotient calculated by the division part 13 is larger than a prescribed integer; and a data length determination part 15 for, as long as the subtraction value is larger than the prescribed integer, setting the subtraction value as the dividend, and for, when the subtraction value is not larger than the prescribed integer, and a combination of the quotient and the remainder calculated by the division part 13 exists in the storage part 11, determining that the actual packet length is normal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
