PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-conducting rubber roller and a rubber component for the semi-conducting rubber roller having a sufficient bonding property of an electrical conductive shaft body and semi-conducting foaming rubber and sufficient low hardness.;SOLUTION: This semi-conducting rubber roller and the rubber component for the semi-conducting rubber roller are constituted such that the semi-conducting rubber roller is manufactured by vulcanization and foaming operations by passing the conductive shaft body through a cross head die of an extruder and arranging and heating a semi-conducting foaming rubber material which is not vulcanized and foamed yet on the shaft body and the rubber material is the rubber component which has EPDM as a main raw material and foaming agent, contains 4 to 15 parts of carbon black of DBP oil suction amount of 300 ml/100 g or more per EPDM 100 parts, and has an amount of a softening agent twice or more the carbon black amount and has a foaming vulcanizate of the rubber component which has Mooney viscosity ML₁₊₄ (100°C) of 15 to 30, and in which the relation of foaming and vulcanization speed when measured at 140°C, is such that a vulcanization percentage, which reaches 50% when the maximum value of a foaming pressure is set as 100%, is 40% or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
