PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling a product packed in a flat-flexible package to stand independently, which can improve display performance of the product packed in the flat-flexible package which is advantageous to retort sterilization.;SOLUTION: The method of enabling the product packed in the flat-flexible package to stand independently is configured so that both the corners (14a, 14b) of one side of the flat-flexible package 12 closely sealed with the contents filled therein may be folded toward each other and fixed to the surface of the flat-flexible package 12, thereby forming a bottom 16. By this configuration, the product packed in the flat-flexible package in a flat shape which is originally advantageous to the retort sterilization takes a shape which can support the product packed in the flat-flexible package at its bottom.
