PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of fastening a screw to a thin plate for actualizing good fastening without requiring special machining for a fastening hole of the thin plate.;SOLUTION: The fastening structure comprises the thin plate 1 having the fastening hole 10 for a tapping screw 3, and a plate body 20 having a fastening hole 20 for the tapping screw 3 and put overlappingly on the thin plate 1. The fastening hole 20 has such a shape and dimensions that the tapping screw 3 is partially bitten in the peripheral edge of the hole at its multiple positions.
