PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for displaying image data, which suppresses the influence of the changes in external properties (server) that can eliminate users' anxiety. PSOLUTION: A management server (20) includes: a storage destination storing means which stores storage destination data showing storage destinations of pieces of target image data stored in an image server (40) per piece of target image data; an image storing means for storing foundation image data; a transmission means which transmits foundation image data stored in the image storing means and storage destination data stored in the storage destination storing means, in response to a request from a terminal; and a program transmission means which transmits data for making the terminal execute a function of overwriting foundation image data displayed in a list with target image data transmitted from another server, in response to the request and displaying an overwritten result, to the terminal.
