PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing system for forming recording mediums and a managing method for storing recording mediums, that can efficiently store written recording mediums in the system and efficiently take out desired recording mediums.;SOLUTION: The recording medium carry in/out path is simplified while saving the space for the storage and the in/out mechanism, by preparing an opening 41 to put in and take out mediums 52, 53 to/from a medium storage 17 in a manner that recorded mediums are sequentially stored from the innermost position and sequentially taken out from the one closest to the opening 41 first. When taking out a written recording medium 52 stored at the inner part of the storage 17, the recording mediums 53 in the front are taken out first to temporarily store in an unused medium storage 16. After taking out the desired written recording medium 52, the mediums 53 temporarily stored are sequentially brought back to the medium storage 17 and stored there without leaving a vacant space.
