PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information reference system enabling efficient work of referring to past diagnostic image reading reports. PSOLUTION: The device is provided with a patient information input part 11 for inputting patient identification information, a diagnostic image reading report searching part 12 for searching a plurality of diagnostic image reading reports of the patient identified by the input patient identification information from a diagnostic image reading report database 4, a character string extracting part 13 for extracting predetermined character string information from the respective searched diagnostic image reading report, a link formation part 14 for relating a diagnostic reading result of the diagnostic image reading report from which the character string information is extracted to the extracted character string information, and a display control part 15 for displaying the extracted character string information on a display part 16, and displaying the diagnostic reading result related to the specified character string information on the display part 16 by corresponding to specification of the displayed character string information by an operation part 17.
