PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aqueous gas black suspension which requires no additives to adjust desired application technology properties such as degree of dispersion, storage stability, freeze resistance, optical density, viscosity, zeta potential and particle size distribution.;SOLUTION: The gas black suspension is aqueous, colloidal, freeze-resistant and storage-stable and is composed of 2-30 mass%, favorably 10-25 mass%, of a gas black, 0-40 mass%, favorably 0-30 mass%, of a carbon black, a dispersion-supportive additive, a biocide and water. The suspension has a zeta potential below -10 mV, favorably -25 mV, a surface tension above 50 mN/m, favorably above 60 mN/m, and an average particle size below 200 nm, favorably below 100 nm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
