PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cobalt iron alloy and a quaternary alloy which can improve magnetic properties, and a method for manufacturing a plated magnetic thin-film of a cobalt iron alloy and a plated magnetic thin-film of a cobalt iron molybdenum alloy. ;SOLUTION: The plated magnetic thin-film of a cobalt iron alloy includes an alloy having, for instance, the formula of Co100-a-bFeaMb, (where, (a) and (b) are mass ratios in ranges of respectively satisfying 0(a)≤100 and 0≤(b)100, and M represents one or more elements except cobalt and iron), has saturated magnetization of 2T or more, and easy axis coercive force of 13×103/(4π) A/m or less.
